In November 2015, Project Genesis Ltd was established as a property development company with the aim of purchasing land, constructing housing, and reselling it..
The management quickly realised the lack of quality manufacturers on the Mauritian market. Having the necessary expertise, the decision was made to redirect the business.
In February 2017, the company transformed into a construction and civil engineering contractor under the name Y²M Co. Ltd. The company is registered with the CIA (Construction Industry Auhority) as a Building Contractor (ref. CT/BW/L/H-01663) and Civil Contractor (ref. CT/CE/L/H-01684).

Our management team combines solid expertise in industrial management, finance, logistics, and civil engineering. The finance and strategy team benefits from decades of experience in Mauritius and internationally, with active participation on various boards of directors. This expertise covers areas such as finance, design, logistics, economics, and marketing, ensuring the financial stability of the company and its projects. The technical team is led by a registered civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in consulting and project execution. Having contributed to numerous large-scale projects worth several billion Mauritian rupees, he oversees all technical and contractual aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.
