Y²M Co. Ltd undertakes the renovation of residential, school and institutional buildings throughout Mauritius. Registered with the CIA (Construction Industry Auhority) as a Building Contractor (ref. CT/BW/L/H-01663), our company works on both house extensions and the rehabilitation of buildings protected by the National Heritage Fund (NHF).

Each intervention is tailored to the constraints of the existing building: condition of the structure, heritage regulations, occupancy of the premises and the client’s budget.

Rehabilitation of heritage buildings

We work on buildings listed by the National Heritage Fund, where every modification must be approved and comply with heritage requirements. Our team is experienced in the specific constraints of this type of project.

• Manufacture and installation of windows conforming to NHF specifications
• Supply of imported hardware (hinges, handles, locks) to match existing fixtures
• Masonry repairs and repairs to concrete/joinery interfaces
• Painting and facade renovation respecting the original colours

Carpentry and openings

Replacing joinery is an important aspect of our renovation projects, whether for listed buildings or residential projects.
